Need someone reliable to help with school drop-offs/pick-ups

I am trying to balance a new project at work and I am completely overwhelmed trying to coordinate the daily school commutes for my son who just turned eight. He is a great kid but has an incredible amount of energy and can be a handful to keep focused, so I have quickly realized that a standard babysitting setup isn't going to cut it right now.
I'm looking for an active, patient individual who can handle the morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups, and spend some time helping him with basic "curriculum-reinforcement" and homework afterward. Because he is highly energetic and needs a lot of firm boundaries and active engagement, a male mentor might find it a bit easier to keep up with his pace and rough-and-tumble personality. It's mostly about keeping him on track with his daily schedule, making sure his reading logs are filled out, and playing some catch in the yard to burn off that after-school energy.
I am offering fair pay of $30 - $40 an hour depending on your background because finding someone responsible who can actually connect with him is my top priority.
